Omnis for iPhone Beta unveiled at CeBIT

Omnis Studio 5 for iPhone®
TigerLogic Germany has been invited to present Omnis Studio 5 for iPhone beta at a special press event on Thursday March 4 at CeBIT this year, concerning "new enterprise solutions for iPhone". At the event a number of iPhone developers will be able to talk about their latest products. Andreas Pfeiffer from TigerLogic Germany will demo Omnis for iPhone.

Press Release (2 March 2010): TigerLogic is pleased to announce that it will be demonstrating its Omnis Studio 5 for iPhone developer beta at the CeBIT International Trade Fair at Hall 3, Booth K20, March 2-6, 2010 in Hannover, Germany. Omnis Studio 5 now provides the functionality to develop applications for Apple's iPhone®, iPod touch®, and soon to be released iPad.

For over 10 years, Omnis Studio has provided a vast array of development tools for application developers and Value Added Resellers to create enterprise and web applications for all types of markets. The release of Omnis Studio 5 in September 2009 added support for Windows Phone® OS. Omnis in Linux User & Developer magazine

The UK magazine Linux User & Developer has recently published a four-page tutorial about getting started with Omnis Studio (in issue 84). The article steps you through the installation on Ubuntu Linux, then the creation of a simple application, and provides a good introduction to developing apps in Omnis Studio.
